1st June 2009 This is a very unique vehicle, a
Crossley Condor that was delivered to Portsmouth Corporation in 1931 and is the only one known one to survive. This one was
bodied by Short Brothers as a 48-seat Double Deck bus and then eventually it was converted by the Corporation into a breakdown tender around 1948. Today it was
recovered with the help of Boarhunt Recovery from Portsmouth Museum's Beam Engine Site, and was suffering from
being stored in the open for a number of years under Tarpaulin.
